La Basse Haie is a lovingly restored 650 year old farmhouse where the owners have endeavoured to keep as many of the original features, such as oak beams and stonework.

The Gite is situated close to Ambriéres les Vallées on the Normandy – Western Loire border and within 30 minute drive from Brittany.  We are in the centre of the Parc Naturel Regional Normandie – Maine which is designated as an area of outstanding beauty.  Also ideal for an overnight stop for B&B as we are only 1.5 hrs drive due south of Caen.

 

Whilst we are only 5 minutes from a small town you will find total tranquillity and peace, enjoying the views from our side terrace and rear garden.

 

La Basse Haie Cigné has been renovated with authenticity and comfort in mind. All the rooms are light and spacious.

 

The house sleeps six adults with the provision of an additional  cot, high chair and safety gate, if required.

 

At the front of the house there is a large gravel terrace, which has the sun all day.  There is a large BBQ and ample parking.
