Evelyn was born in 1950 in the Black Forest, Germany and worked for Lufthansa German Airlines at Stuttgart Airport for 33 years.

Colin was born in 1948 in Brighton, England and ran a successful Building Company in East Sussex which he subsequently passed to his 2 sons. 

We met in June 2002 whilst on holiday in Crete.

3 years later we decided to take early retirement and moved permanently to France, where Colin already owned a holiday home since 1997 where he had carried out extensive renovation works.

As we have both been very active throughout our working life and enjoy meeting people we decided to set up a Gite and B&B business.

To achieve this we had to renovate the remaining section of the house between April 2005 and June 2006 as our first guests arrived the 1^st of July 2006 and were lucky enough to see the Tour de France pass within 3 kms of our house.

Since opening the Gite we have been almost fully booked from May to October each year and with many bookings out of season together with both English and French staying on a B&B basis.

All our customers who have stayed have been very pleased with the accommodation and our hospitality and have written very kind comments in our visitors book.
